Superior Shuttles is a family business located in South Auckland, New Zealand, started by Sam Dorotich who, at age 17, began working in the fibreglass boats industry. In 1986 Sam started South Auckland Boat Repairs Limited specialising in small trailer-boat repairs, gelcoat repairs, spray painting, antifouling and alterations for local boat dealers and builders from Manurewa.
A request from a friend who built trailers for something to go over the top of the trailers led to a fibreglass 'shuttle' being built. Thus Superior Shuttles was born in 1996 with the 'Kiwi Shuttle Pup' being the first of the line. Since then there have been new shuttle models designed and produced and used by Superior Shuttles customers for many different purposes.
